Emerald Management Services
in association with United Nation Association have undertaken a project, Community Health Services, through which we aim to improve the health standards of the under-privileged section of the community in and around the Tricity& Punjab. We intend to achieve this by conducting health camps on a regular basis.
Medical Health Camp
Emerald Management services Chandigarh organized a Medical health camp for about 375 under-privileged children and their parents in and around the Punjab.This camp was arranged with the help of voluntary service of a team of four competent doctors: Headed by DrEishan Aryan, all of whom offer their services regularly . This camp was inaugurated by MrHarcharan Singh Ranauta, President, United Nation Association. Over 20 committed volunteers from Emerald Management Services rendered their voluntary services to carry out the camp smoothly.
Most of the patients which included over 250 children were found victims of malnutrition thereby causing low hemoglobin and less immunity. Lot of patients complained of cold, skin problems and digestion problems. The patients were given free consultation and medication for 4 days and were advised to continue their treatment at any Govt Hospital.
Medical Eye Camp
An Eye Camp was organized at Punjab.Doctors team offered their voluntary service. About 20 patients came for examination. About 90% patients were found suffering from long or short-sightedness. They were provided with glasses at a subsidized price. Four Patients suffering from cataract were offered surgery and medication without any charges.
Social Initiatives
The Emerald Management Services vision of ‘Making a Better Professional Life’ extends to its social responsibilities to the society and the community at large, to create a better life for its brethren in the society through proactive social initiatives. EMS is a committed & responsible corporate citizen and makes significant efforts for the improvement and upliftment of the areas and communities that it works in. Over 2% of our annual profits are dedicated to social programs.
The EMS focuses on enabling every family to become self-sufficient by ensuring that at least one member of the family is employable.
Education And Training
The EMS conducts vocational training in a variety of fields like computer programming, Hair Dresser , mobile repair, mehendi application etc. Over 50 to 100 people take advantage of these courses each year, giving them life skills to ensure long- term employment.
